A worn squeegee blade is the most common reason a perfectly healthy scrubber starts leaving streaks and wet patches behind it. The machine is working; the blade simply is not wiping the floor dry any more. If your operator has started running a second pass over the same aisle, the blade is the first thing to check — not the machine.

What this part does

The squeegee sits behind the brush deck and recovers the water the machine has just laid down. A sharp, correctly angled blade leaves a surface that is dry to walk on immediately behind the robot. A worn one lets water slip past the edge, and the visible result is a streaked or wet trail — which, in a public building, is also a slip risk.

Nominal squeegee widths by model are below. Front and rear blades are separate items on most decks, and some units use a blade plus a blade holder assembly. Confirm the exact configuration with our team before ordering.

When a scrubber squeegee blade replacement is due

• Visual: the lip is nicked, rounded or curled away from the floor, or the rubber has hardened.
• On result: water streaks behind the machine, wet floor after a pass, or visible water trails at the ends of the route.
• Scheduled: every 3–6 months on daily use. Rotating a blade to use the second edge buys time on some decks — check whether yours allows it.

1. Machine model and, if known, the year of manufacture.
2. Whether the machine has a disc or a cylindrical deck — the squeegee differs.
3. A photo of the squeegee assembly and a tape measure across the blade.
