Wet cleaning creates two problems that dry cleaning does not: water that has to be managed, and a floor that has to stay clear until it dries. In a hospital corridor or a hotel lobby neither is acceptable, which is why wet cleaning so often happens at night when nobody is there to see the result.
The Snail takes a different approach. A 386 mm polymer sponge roller lays water down and lifts it back in the same movement, so the floor behind the machine is dry enough to walk on. The 15 L tank is filtered and recirculated rather than dumped, and a 16 W UVC lamp disinfects the roller and the floor, switching off automatically when the module is opened.
Where the Snail sits in the range
The Snail is the wet-cleaning specialist with disinfection built in. Where the floor needs mechanical scrubbing with brush pressure, the C5 or M1 is the right tool. Where the requirement is dry sweeping, the Monster or Beetle covers more area per hour. Snail sits where the floor has to be both washed and immediately usable, and where hygiene is part of the specification.
What sets the Snail apart
- Mopping, vacuuming and sweeping in one pass, on a bow-shaped wall-following path
- 386 mm polymer sponge roller dries the floor as it cleans, so no wet-floor cordon is needed
- 16 W UVC lamp disinfects the roller and the floor, with automatic shut-off when opened
- Water circulation and filtration reuse water, cutting refill frequency through the shift
- Laser SLAM mapping up to 40,000 m², with cloud-based remote map deployment
- 3D camera, 25 m LiDAR and optical coupling touch sensing for anti-collision
- 9 hours of runtime and 30 hours standby, matching a full operational day
- Scheduled cleaning, automatic recharge and fall prevention for unattended operation
- 900 mm minimum passage width, sized for corridors rather than open halls

Best suited to
Hospitals, clinics and care homes where the floor has to be both clean and dry. Hotel public areas and guest corridors. Airports and stations with continuous hard flooring. Shopping centres and office lobbies that cannot afford to close off a wet zone.

Frequently asked questions
Is disinfection a separate pass?
No. The UVC lamp is part of the cleaning module, so disinfection happens during the same run. It switches off automatically when the module is opened for service.
Does it leave the floor wet?
The sponge roller lifts water back as it moves, so the floor is dry enough to walk on behind the machine. It is a wet clean that finishes dry rather than a scrubber with a squeegee.
What does water recycling actually save?
It reduces how often the tank needs refilling. With a 15 L tank and a nine-hour runtime, refill frequency rather than capacity is what decides whether a shift runs uninterrupted.
