Robot In Operation Floor Sign and Warning Decal Set

Floor signs and warning decals for buildings running cleaning robots. Why autonomous equipment changes what a floor safety sign has to say, and how to specify a set for your site.

Autonomous cleaning changes what a floor safety sign is for. A conventional “wet floor” cone tells a passer-by that the floor is slippery; it does not tell them that a moving machine is working in the space, where it will go next, or that it will not stop for a trolley parked in its path. Buildings that install robots find out quickly that their existing signage no longer matches what is happening on the floor.

What this sign does

These are the floor-level signals that tell people — staff, visitors, contractors — that a robot is working in the area. They exist to do three things: make the machine’s presence expected rather than surprising, keep pedestrians from parking prams, trolleys and pallets in the route, and give your facility team something defensible in a safety walk-through.

Where a robot in operation floor sign belongs

  • Lobbies and entrances where a cleaning robot works during opening hours among visitors.
  • Warehouse and production aisles where AMRs and forklifts share the same floor.
  • Hospitals, airports and malls where the machine operates among the public and staff need the boundary understood.
  • Around charging docks — the spot where a parked robot is most likely to be blocked by someone who does not realise it belongs there.

Specifying a set for your site

Tell us the language you need, how many entry points and dock areas you want marked, and whether the floor is hard or carpeted — the backing adhesive differs. We will put together a set sized to the building rather than sell you a single sign.

These signs are generic, not model-bound: they apply to any site running an autonomous floor cleaning robot, including the SC50 in a hotel lobby or a wide-area machine in a distribution centre. For robot deployments across industries, see our industry guides.

Ordering and pricing

Signage is quoted per order by format, size, quantity and language. Tell us how many areas you need to mark, and we will come back with a quote. Request a quote, or browse our spare parts and consumables.
