Cylindrical Brush for SW80A Waterless Cleaning Robot

A cylindrical (roller) brush sweeps material up and into the collection path rather than pushing it around, which is why wide-area machines use one. It is also the part that catches everything the floor throws at it — hair, tape, cable ties, packaging strapping, sand. Replacing it is routine; neglecting it turns a high-throughput machine into a slow one.

What this part does

The roller rotates against the floor and lifts debris up and back into the debris path instead of sweeping it forward. That directional action is what makes a roller deck effective on large open floors: material goes into the machine, not into the next aisle. Worn or tangled rollers lose their pick-up action long before they stop turning.

Roller dimensions are model-specific and must match the deck. Confirm length, diameter and end fitting with our team before ordering.

If your machine is not an SW80A, this is not the part you need. Scrubber 50 comes with either a disc deck or a roller deck; SC50 and SC80 use double-roller decks. Those are three different brushes: see the roller brush for SC50 and SC80 or the Scrubber 50 disc brush.

When the SW80A cylindrical brush needs replacing

• Weekly: remove wound hair, tape and fibres. Most “worn out” roller brushes are simply clogged.
• On result: debris left behind on large open floors, or the machine needing a second pass over material it used to take first time.
• On condition: bristle tufts flattened or missing, damaged bearings, or a roller that no longer sits true in the deck.
